I'm a second year college student, coder, photographer, and table tennis hobbyist. Currently, I'm a part-time Digital Technology Intern at General Electric Digital, but I'm also a college student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Neuroscience and Computer Science are my cpassion, but presently, I'm focusing on my passion to be a software engineer.
This website was the partial result of my inital passions. When I was younger, I was afraid of the different. After my junior year of high school, I changed my mentality completey. I had a *bug* to improve myself in every facet. Since then, I've accepted the chaos that naturally occurs with exploring the different; In fact, I'm avidly searching for it. This is a website for documenting that journey.

As apart of the Service Fabric Team in One Drive Sharepoint, I created a disaster recovery readiness dashboard, displaying datacenters, clusters and databases along with metrics to establish current readiness level. Our goal was to decrease the time On Call Engineers(OCEs) needed to determine the readiness to failover these dimensions so that One Drive Consumer can have greater reliability
As apart of the Monitoring Team for Coretech Digital, I created a management system to assist BI analysis of monitor metadata and control usage. Working with New Relic and Sikuli monitoring, I developed a silencing system, allowing maintenance periods to be synonymous with our new in-house management system. I established a framework for future improvements such as Internal Self self-service portal, monitoring, and reporting.
I created automation for disabling invalid and failing monitors as a cost saving effort (one quarter savings of 100K with continued savings).
Selected to take part in an immersive 1000-hour full stack software engineering course focused on project-based front-end and back-end web and mobile development in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience using React, React-Native, Redux, Express, MongoDB, SQL, Postgres, among other technologies.
Along with world class peers, students create twitter feed clones, Real time chat boxes, their own API, and learn Encryption, Hacking, the Web FullStack, and far more. In addition to skills, I've learned to work in teams with other software engineers, experiencing the similar situations in industy.
Under Dr.Eberhard Voit, I was placed with Ph.D. candidate Felipe Dalvi-Garcia from the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing
Combining mathematical and computational modeling, we study cortisol's effect to manipulate dopaminergic and serotonergic systems, also known as Major Depression (MD). Using Matlab and different programs for designing gene-regulatory and biochemical networks, I helped verify references, develop the serotonergic pathway manipulated, and proof-read presented papers to PI.
In the summer of 2017, I worked in Doctor Dieter Jaeger's Parkinson's lab under Doctor Li Su. Under his guidance, I improved my coding abilities in Matlab.
Using Matlab, I wrote data organization programs to improve data search efficiency, conduct video analysis on mice behavior, and attempt to help postdoctoral researchers and graduate researchers with data efficiency and organization.
myGenomics is a highly specialized next generation sequencing(NGS) service provider. The lab consists of entirely PhD scientists with over fifteen years of research experience in genetics and NGS.
As an intern, I was tasked to Extracted, fragmented, purified, amplified, and sequenced DNA, organize samples and give QC(Quality Control) reports to clients. I was mentored by fouder of myGenomics Dr.Shoeb Ahmad for over 80 hours.
Spectrum Internal Medicine is a private physician facility founded by Doctor Julius Adebisi.
At the office, I studied diseases and disorders with an internist, Dr. Adebisi, for over 90 hours, and I learned the administrative process for medical assistants around a private practice.
The Georgia Institute of Technology provides one of the best Computer Science programs in the world along with the diversity and caring environment needed for a rounded college experience. My understanding and experience with Georiga Tech excites me for the future opportunties possible.
My experience will be filled with passionate students and teachers who will keep me engaged and humble throughout the process. I hope to use this chance to propell my understanding of the computer science field.
The Georgia Governor's Honors Program (GHP) is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students in the State of Georgia.
As a finalist, I worked as both a Mathematics major and a Journalism minor. The program consisted of perpetual projects from Mathematic Research projects to press conferences as a journalist. As a mathematics major, my partner and I created a traffic simulator using Netlogo, and as a journalism minor, I created Gonzo and editorials for the Valdosta GHP campus.
